Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges have officially launched MAGIS 2026-1, a merit-based entrance examination and scholarship programme aimed at identifying talented students across Pakistan. The initiative seeks to provide high-quality education opportunities to academically strong students through a transparent and competitive assessment process.
For the first time, the MAGIS programme has been extended to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, marking an important milestone in expanding access to international-standard education. Education officials said the move will help bridge long-standing gaps in quality schooling options for students in the region.
Alongside the entrance exam launch, authorities announced the establishment of the first Pak-Turk Maarif International AJK Muzaffarabad Campus. The new campus represents a major expansion of the institution’s educational network and is expected to serve as a hub for academic excellence in AJK.
Under the MAGIS 2026-1 programme, students can apply for admission in Grades 4 through 9, as well as IGCSE-1. Admissions will be granted purely on merit, based on performance in the entrance examination, ensuring equal opportunity for applicants from diverse backgrounds.
Officials said the programme is also designed to offer scholarships to deserving students, easing financial barriers and enabling access to quality education. Scholarships will be awarded to high-performing candidates, helping families manage educational costs while encouraging academic excellence.
Pak-Turk Maarif authorities expect strong participation from across Pakistan, particularly from AJK, where demand for international-level education has been steadily rising. Parents and students have been encouraged to apply early and prepare thoroughly for the entrance exam to maximize their chances of admission.
The institution said MAGIS 2026-1 reflects its broader commitment to nurturing future leaders, promoting academic discipline, and strengthening educational ties between Pakistan and Türkiye. Officials added that the expansion into AJK aligns with long-term goals of inclusive educational development nationwide.
