Shahzaib Rind Set to Face Israeli Fighter Natan Levy in Karate Combat (1)

Pakistan’s lightweight champion, Shahzaib Rind, is preparing for one of the most anticipated fights of 2026. He will defend his Karate Combat Lightweight World Championship against Israeli contender Natan Levy.

The matchup was officially confirmed by Karate Combat on social media. While the exact date and venue are yet to be announced, the fight has already drawn attention for its sporting importance and political backdrop.

Shahzaib Rind, 27, has earned his reputation through remarkable performances in the ring. On January 25, 2025, at Karate Combat 52 in Miami, he defeated former three-time world champion Edgars Skrivers 7–0 to secure his second lightweight title.

Earlier, at Karate Combat 44 in Mexico City, Rind achieved one of the promotion’s fastest and most spectacular finishes. He knocked out Peru’s Marco Cubas in just 21 seconds using a flying knee, high kick, and follow-up ground strikes.

Rind’s most recent title defense took place on July 19, 2025, at Karate Combat 56 in Miami, where he defeated Brazilian Luiz Rocha via TKO in the fourth round at 2:57.

Born and raised in Balochistan, Shahzaib Rind began practicing martial arts at the age of nine. He refined much of his technique by studying online tutorials on YouTube. Outside of Karate Combat, he has a combined Wushu and kickboxing record of 75–4 and has won six national titles.

Rind made history at KC‑49 in Singapore on September 18, 2024, when he defeated Brazil’s Bruno Roberto De Assis. This victory made him Pakistan’s first-ever world champion in Karate Combat.
