The International Cotton Association (ICA) has placed 84 Pakistani textile mills on its defaulter’s list, halting their ability to trade in international markets. This action follows the mills’ failure to honor their cotton purchase agreements, prompting the ICA to direct its members not to engage in any deals with these companies. The defaulters are mainly located in Karachi and Lahore, with others spread across Faisalabad, Multan, Hyderabad, Kasur, and Gadoon. Many of these mills are reported to be partially or fully closed.
