Tremors Shake Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, No Casualties Reported
Tremors were felt across multiple cities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, causing panic among residents, although no immediate reports of casualties or damage have been received.
According to the National Seismological Centre, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale. The tremor struck at a depth of 230 kilometers, with its epicenter located in the Hindukush region of Afghanistan.

Residents in cities including Peshawar, Chitral, Upper Dir, Mardan, Khyber, Malakand, Swat, Mohmand, and surrounding areas reported feeling the shaking. Many individuals rushed out of buildings as a precautionary measure, though the deep epicenter of the earthquake helped reduce its surface impact.
Authorities have advised citizens to stay calm but remain vigilant, as aftershocks may occur. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is actively monitoring the situation.
