The committee, chaired by Senator Rana Maqbool Ahmad, also addressed a range of topics, including challenges related to fiberization, cybersecurity, social media content, privacy, and consumer rights.
Recommendations to address PTA’s issues were requested and discussions were held with officials from the Naya Pakistan Housing Authority, focusing on transparency and maintenance.

The committee also tackled issues such as Kunda culture in Karachi, improper electricity billing, and taxation, with the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) providing clarifications.
