Police arrested 28 individuals, including 18 men and 10 women, during a raid on a dance party in Lahore’s Barki area. The raid was conducted after a complaint was lodged via the helpline 15. According to the Barki police station SHO, one suspect managed to escape during the operation.
The arrested individuals were charged with alcohol consumption and violating the Loudspeaker Act. The police identified several detainees, including Asif, Aamir, Shahid, Huzayfah, Umar, Mohammad Ali, and others.

During the raid, authorities confiscated illegal items such as alcoholic beverages, flavored shisha, and weapons. These findings led to formal charges against the participants.
A similar incident occurred in Karachi last October when police raided a private party in Korangi Mehran Town following complaints of inappropriate activities. However, no drugs or alcohol were found, and no arrests were made, with the event being shut down peacefully.
