Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently sustained an elbow injury while filming ‘The Smashing Machine.’

In the movie directed by Benny Safdie, Johnson, reprising his role as real-life mixed-martial-arts fighter Mark Kerr, faced some intense action scenes, leading to the injury. In an Instagram video posted on June 11, the 52-year-old actor shared the news with his fans, mentioning the inherent risks of filming a movie titled The Smashing Machine.

While Johnson hasn’t undergone an MRI yet to determine the extent of the injury, he reassured his followers that he’s doing fine, despite experiencing some pain. Despite the setback, Johnson remains optimistic, expressing his enthusiasm for the film’s release, which is expected in December.
