Woman Axes Elder Brother Over Phone Use Rule

A tragic incident unfolded in Chhattisgarh, India, where a sister allegedly killed her elder brother for forbidding her from communicating with boys via phone. According to reports from Indian media outlets, the 18-year-old brother’s decision to impose restrictions on his sister’s phone usage resulted in a fatal confrontation.

Upon being informed of the restriction, the sister, consumed by anger, attacked her brother with an axe, leading to his demise. The incident was brought to light when authorities promptly responded to the scene following notification.

Law enforcement officials have arrested the 14-year-old sister and placed her in custody. In her statement to the police, the girl admitted to the crime, stating that she became enraged when her brother interfered with her phone conversations. She recounted that during the altercation, as her brother fell asleep, she fatally struck him with the axe.

The girl also revealed that their parents were absent at the time of the incident, being away for work. After committing the act, she cleaned herself of blood using her clothes and informed neighbors about her brother’s death, attributing it to an unidentified assailant.

The police have detained the girl and are proceeding with further legal proceedings in the matter.
