Wisconsin Boy Calls 911 on Mom for Eating His Ice Cream

A 4-year-old boy in Wisconsin tested his sense of justice last Tuesday when he dialed 911 to report a critical offense his mother eating his ice cream. Mount Pleasant police officials responded to the unexpected call, uncovering the boy’s serious complaint about the dessert theft.

The boy told the dispatcher, “My mommy is being bad,” and insisted, “Come and get my mommy,” as he detailed his frustration over the missing treat. His mother quickly took the phone and explained that the reason behind her son’s call was her having eaten his ice cream.

Police officers followed protocol and visited the family’s home to ensure the situation wasn’t masking a more serious issue. Upon arrival, they confirmed the boy’s story and learned that he felt his mother deserved consequences for her actions. After some consideration, the child decided not to press charges, asking instead for his ice cream to be replaced.

The police later turned the situation into a heartwarming moment of community outreach. Two days after the incident, officers returned with a special delivery—two scoops of ice cream with blue sprinkles for the young boy.

The incident highlights the lighter side of 911 calls involving children and the thoughtful ways police departments handle such cases.
