WhatsApp rolls out event scheduling feature in private chats for Beta users

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature in its beta version that allows users to create and share events in one-on-one chats. This feature is available in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.3.6 for Android and 25.2.10.73 for iOS, enabling users to schedule and manage events directly within private conversations.

Previously available only in group chats, this functionality has now been extended to individual conversations. It eliminates the need for third-party apps or external calendars for scheduling personal appointments and meetings. Users can create events by selecting the option in the sharing menu, alongside options like camera, gallery, and document sharing.

Event details such as name, date, time, and location can be added, and users can also include a WhatsApp video or voice call link. Those on the WhatsApp beta program on Android or iOS can update their apps to try out the feature, with plans for a wider rollout to all users in the near future.
