Trump proposes constructing futuristic “Freedom Cities” on federal land

Former President Donald Trump proposed a plan on Friday to establish up to 10 new “freedom cities” on federal land, a move he claims would significantly enhance the quality of life in America. In a video outlining his vision, Trump, now 76 and a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, argued that America has lost its boldness and vowed to restore it with innovative, futuristic cities located in rural areas, complete with flying vehicles.

Trump explained that only a small portion—about half of 1%—of federal land would be required for these developments. He suggested a competitive approach, where the best city development proposals would win the opportunity to build these new cities.

“These freedom cities will revitalize the American spirit, giving young people and hardworking families a fresh chance at homeownership,” Trump added, envisioning a new era of opportunities and creativity.

In the video, he also called for American companies to spearhead a revolution in air-mobility, developing personal vehicles capable of vertical takeoff and landing, emphasizing that America, not China, should lead this technological shift.

Additionally, Trump introduced plans for a revitalization initiative aimed at transforming neglected communities into productive hubs of manufacturing, reducing reliance on Chinese imports. His proposal includes a “baby bonus” to encourage population growth, along with efforts to modernize and beautify public spaces by removing unsightly structures, renovating parks, and erecting monuments to honor American heroes.
