TCL Introduces Smartphones Featuring Paper Like Screens For Visual Comfort
TCL introduces NxtPaper technology to smartphones with TCL 40 NxtPaper and TCL 40 NxtPaper 5G models.
The TCL 40 NxtPaper model features a 6.78-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution in a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It includes an e-reader mode for comfortable reading and can serve as a notepad using an optional stylus-equipped case. It runs on the Helio G88 chipset with 8 GB RAM (expandable to 8GB virtual) and 256 GB storage, along with a triple card slot for SIM cards and microSD.

The camera setup includes a 50MP primary module, 5MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro module. A 32MP front sensor handles selfies. Fast charging with a 5,010 mAh battery is supported by a 33W charger, achieving 50% charge in 30 minutes. The starting price is $215.
The TCL 40 NxtPaper 5G integrates the NxtPaper tech with 5G connectivity. It features a 6.6-inch screen with 90Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 6020 chipset, 256 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM. It retains the triple camera system and runs on Android 13. The 5G variant costs $270.
