Shogran, a scenic destination in the Kaghan Valley, has been revitalized by a fresh blanket of snow, with up to one foot of snow falling after a prolonged dry spell. The snowfall has rejuvenated the valley’s appeal, drawing an increasing number of tourists eager to experience its winter beauty.

In a first for the region, the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) has ensured that Shogran Road remains accessible to small vehicles, making it easier for visitors to reach the area. The valley is bustling with tourists enjoying the picturesque snow-covered landscapes, while nearby areas like Naran have seen up to three feet of snow, intensifying the cold.

The long-awaited snowfall has brought new life to Kaghan Valley, offering travelers stunning winter vistas and a chance to explore the region’s natural beauty. KDA official Moazzam Khan noted that a series of measures, including the deployment of staff and standby machinery, have been put in place to ensure tourist safety and comfort.

A dedicated helpline has also been established for emergencies, allowing visitors to contact 1422 for assistance if needed. These efforts are aimed at enhancing the overall experience for tourists flocking to the snowy paradise of Shogran.
