Pakistan’s T20 squad faced criticism after enduring four consecutive losses, but they managed to secure a victory against New Zealand by 42 runs, preventing a whitewash. Shaheen Afridi, leading the team for the first time in a limited series, expressed support for the under-fire squad, emphasizing the importance of winning the fifth game as they look ahead to the T20 World Cup in June 2023.

The Player of the Match award went to Iftikhar Ahmed, who delivered an impressive performance with figures of 3-24. His contributions played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s victory against New Zealand.
