Punjab School Timings During Ramadan 2024

In Punjab, the most populous region of the country, authorities are poised to announce adjusted school schedules for both public and private schools during the upcoming month of Ramadan, set to commence next week.

The Punjab Education Department will unveil the revised timings, which reportedly stipulate that regular school classes will commence at 7:30 am and conclude at 12:30 pm on weekdays. On Fridays, classes will conclude earlier at 11:30 am.

For schools operating on a double-shift basis, the first shift will commence at 7:15 am, concluding at around 12:30 pm. The second shift is scheduled from 12:15 pm to 4:30 pm.

These new timings are expected to come into effect from March 12, aligning with the anticipated start of Ramadan on Tuesday in Pakistan. The adjustments aim to accommodate the observance of Ramadan, allowing students and staff to manage their academic commitments alongside their religious practices during this significant month.
