The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has extended the registration deadline for MDCAT 2026, giving aspiring medical and dental students additional time to complete their applications.
According to a public notice issued by the council, candidates can now register online for MDCAT 2026 with the regular registration fee until July 13, 2026. Applicants who are unable to meet the revised deadline will still have an opportunity to register by paying a late fee until July 18, 2026.
The updated schedule replaces the previous registration timeline announced by PM&DC on June 19, 2026. Officials said the extension is intended to provide greater flexibility for students who require extra time to complete the registration process.
PM&DC has advised all applicants to regularly visit its official website for the latest updates, detailed instructions, and any further announcements regarding MDCAT 2026. The council emphasized that students should rely only on official sources for information related to the admission test.
MDCAT 2026 is the mandatory entrance examination for students seeking admission to medical and dental colleges across Pakistan. Every year, thousands of candidates appear in the test as part of the admission process for public and private medical institutions.
The extension is expected to benefit many students who were unable to complete their applications before the original deadline due to various reasons. By allowing additional time, PM&DC aims to ensure that eligible candidates do not miss the opportunity to register for the examination.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to complete their registration as early as possible to avoid last-minute issues and ensure their applications are submitted successfully before the revised deadlines. PM&DC said any future changes or important announcements regarding MDCAT 2026 will be communicated through its official channels
