During today’s special cabinet meeting, I conveyed my gratitude to my fellow cabinet members for their collaborative spirit and unwavering support. Their kind words about me touched me deeply.

The past 16 months have presented us with unprecedented challenges, unlike any we have encountered in our history. The convergence of Pakistan’s political factions for a common national agenda signifies the growth of our democratic framework.

Confronted with a multitude of crises, ranging from unprecedented floods to steering the country away from financial default, as well as the task of revitalizing Pakistan’s diplomatic ties and addressing governance issues, we harnessed the power of collective insight to navigate these complex trials

Praise be to Allah, as of August 2023, Pakistan stands in a better position than it did back in April 2022. While our enduring challenges persist, we have unmistakably charted a path forward and initiated actions to propel us in that direction.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to each cabinet colleague for their valuable counsel and contributions, which personally enabled me to serve our nation to the best of my ability. I wish them all continued success.
