This upgraded chip is expected to extend the watch’s battery life to over a day, surpassing the previous 15-hour duration. Additionally, the Pixel Watch 2 might become the first Android smartwatch to introduce UWB technology, a feature previously seen in Apple’s AirTags and AirPods Pro, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy tags and Buds2 Pro.

With UWB, the watch could be easily located through the Find My Device network and even used to unlock a car.
