Pakistan-India T20 World Cup 2024 Date Unveiled

The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 schedule is now official, placing Pakistan and India in the same group alongside Ireland, Canada, and the United States, the host nation.

Sources reveal Pakistan’s opening match against the USA on June 6, followed by the eagerly awaited Pakistan-India clash in New York on June 9. Subsequent matches include Canada on June 11 in New York and Ireland on June 16 in Florida.

Following the initial round, the top two teams from each group advance to the Super Eight round, organized into two groups. The ICC has sent the schedule for feedback and approval, aiming for a prompt release of the final schedule.

Concerning the Pakistan-India match, discussions about potentially moving it to June 8 due to the time zone difference (New York being ten hours behind Pakistan) are underway, catering to prime-time viewers in both countries.

The tournament spans from June 4 to June 30, hosted in the United States and the West Indies, featuring 20 teams divided into four groups.
