Within the Pakistani Pavilion, the country showcased its rich cultural diversity and tourism potential, with live demonstrations by skilled artisans specializing in lacquer woodwork and traditional doll making. These interactive presentations aimed to captivate the audience and shed light on the multifaceted attractions that Pakistan has to offer.

Expressing pride in Pakistan’s achievement, Ambassador Masood emphasized the significance of the accolade, stating, “It is a matter of pride for us that Pakistan Pavilion has been awarded the Best in Show in International Travel and Adventure Show.” The Travel and Adventure Show, with a history spanning over 19 years, has successfully connected more than 2.5 million travel enthusiasts, over 15,000 unique Travel Advisors, and numerous travel media representatives, contributing billions of dollars to various participating countries.

Wasi Shah, the State Minister for Tourism and PTDC Chairman, conveyed his appreciation for the organizers’ efforts and extended congratulations for the meticulous arrangements that showcased all regions of Pakistan at the Pavilion. The minister voiced optimism regarding the positive impact of these endeavors, anticipating a substantial increase in international visitors to Pakistan. Such an influx, he believed, would not only unlock the untapped tourism potential of the country but also play a pivotal role in enhancing Pakistan’s global image.

The recognition received at the Travel and Adventure Show underscores the effective presentation of Pakistan’s diverse cultural heritage and tourism offerings on the international stage. It signifies a step forward in promoting Pakistan as an attractive and welcoming destination for global travelers. The acknowledgment also serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts of various entities, including government bodies, private sector companies, and diplomatic representatives, in fostering positive perceptions and boosting tourism in Pakistan.
