Pakistan and China have signed several new agreements to expand cooperation in key sectors. These include construction machinery, livestock health, and medical technology.
The agreements were signed during a formal event attended by representatives from both countries. One joint venture agreement and two memoranda of understanding were finalized.
Officials said the partnerships aim to strengthen long-term institutional cooperation between Pakistan and China. They also focus on improving industrial capacity and technological development.
A key part of the agreement involves investment opportunities in manufacturing. Both sides plan to set up facilities in Pakistan. The goal is to promote local production of construction machinery.
In the health sector, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Dr Ziauddin Hospital and Shenzhen Weibang Technology. The collaboration will focus on intelligent medical robots.
It will also support the development of integrated healthcare solutions using advanced technology from China. Officials said this step will improve modern medical services in Pakistan.
Another agreement was signed between Al Hassan Trade Establishment, Sany International Development, and Hainan Jiaolong International Technology. This partnership focuses on high-end equipment and construction machinery.
The collaboration is also linked to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor-related projects. It includes machinery supply, technical training, and after-sales support services.
Officials said cooperation with China in this sector will improve infrastructure development in Pakistan. It will also help build technical skills and create new employment opportunities.
In the livestock sector, a joint venture agreement was signed between the Livestock and Fisheries Department of Sindh and Luoyang Modern Biology Group. This partnership focuses on animal vaccines.
It includes vaccines for foot and mouth disease and other livestock diseases. The agreement also covers technology transfer and animal tracking systems.
Authorities said this cooperation with China will improve livestock health management. It is expected to benefit farmers and strengthen food security systems in Pakistan.
Officials from both countries said these agreements reflect strong bilateral relations. They emphasized that cooperation between Pakistan and China continues to grow in multiple sectors.
