Mysterious Disease Outbreak: Hundreds Infected in Egypt
In response to a mysterious disease outbreak in Upper Egypt’s Qena governorate, Russian supervisory authority has implemented heightened health measures for flights originating from Egypt. Reports indicate that the unknown illness has caused symptoms such as high fever, headaches, fatigue, and stomach pain among those affected.
Egyptian TV host, Amr Adib, brought attention to the situation, revealing that hundreds of people in Qena have been infected, prompting the Ministry of Health and Population to take immediate action. The Egyptian Ministry of Health reported that approximately 250 individuals from the village of al-Aleqat in Qena governorate have exhibited symptoms of the unidentified disease.

While the symptoms vary in severity and have not required hospitalization, the Russian supervisory authority aims to prevent potential transmission by implementing increased health control and quarantine measures on flights arriving from Egypt.
