Microsoft Leak Unlocks Windows 11 Hidden Features

An internal Microsoft leak exposed a tool that allows access to hidden Windows 11 features, replicating the way Microsoft engineers test unreleased software.

Known as the StagingTool, it can activate or disable unannounced features within the Windows 11 Insider Preview software. Although there are third-party apps with similar functionality, this is Microsoft’s official version.

The tool was discovered during a “bug bash” event, intended for internal use only, but the link was circulated on the internet.

Users describe it as a “command line interface,” providing the ability to enable hidden features that may not make it to the final build of the operating system.
