The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration wing conducted a raid at Karachi Airport and arrested a passenger, Alian Zaman, who was found in possession of more than 47 fraudulent visas on his mobile phone. Zaman was attempting to travel to the UK using a Malaysian visit visa arranged by an agent.

He was supposed to pay a total of Rs2.8 million for the fraudulent visa services and has already paid Rs4 million to the agent through cash and microfinance accounts. The FIA is continuing its investigation and is taking action against those involved in the visa fraud scheme.
