Kia has revised the prices of several Sportage L and Sorento variants in Pakistan. The latest increases have been linked to changes in sales tax.
The price revision affects multiple hybrid variants across both models. Some variants have become up to Rs1.2 million more expensive under the new rates.
The Kia Sportage L lineup includes hybrid options with different drivetrain configurations. Buyers can choose between front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions of the 1.6T hybrid.
The Sportage L 1.6T FWD HEV is now priced at Rs12.199 million. Its price has increased by Rs900,000 from the previous Rs11.299 million.
The Sportage L 1.6T AWD HEV now costs Rs13.299 million. This variant has received an increase of Rs1.059 million from its earlier price of Rs12.240 million.
Kia has also revised prices across the Sorento hybrid lineup. The Sorento 1.6T FWD HEV now carries a price tag of Rs16.299 million.
The Sorento 1.6T FWD HEV has become Rs1 million more expensive. Its previous price stood at Rs15.299 million before the latest revision.
The Sorento 1.6T AWD HEV has received the largest increase among the affected variants. Its price has risen by Rs1.2 million.
The latest price of the Sorento 1.6T AWD HEV is now Rs17.899 million. The variant was previously available at Rs16.699 million.
The latest increases are expected to affect buyers planning to purchase Kia’s hybrid SUVs in Pakistan. The revisions come as changes in sales tax continue to influence vehicle prices.
Hybrid vehicles have gained attention in Pakistan due to their fuel efficiency and growing consumer interest. However, higher prices could affect affordability for potential buyers.
The new Kia prices mean customers will now need to spend significantly more on several Sportage L and Sorento hybrid variants. Buyers are advised to confirm the latest prices with authorized dealers before booking.
