In the course of the hearing, the Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) attorney informed the court that the construction and renovation of underpasses in Lahore would be finished by December 25. Responding to this, Justice Karim emphasized the need for completion before the specified date, expressing concern that the ongoing construction of underpasses is causing traffic congestion in the city.

Furthermore, the judge inquired about the duration required by the LDA to complete the underpasses if construction were allowed to proceed during daylight hours.
