The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a significant drop of Rs5,400 on Thursday, reflecting global market trends following Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 US presidential election.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell to Rs276,800, while the price of 10 grams dropped by Rs4,630 to Rs237,311.

Similarly, in the international market, gold prices saw a substantial decrease of $65, reaching $2,662 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
In the local market, silver prices also fell by Rs130, settling at Rs3,300 per tola.
