Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs900 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Following the latest increase, the price of 24-karat gold reached Rs440,836 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams climbed by Rs771 to Rs377,945.
The increase came after gold prices recorded a one-day decline in both local and international markets. Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in Pakistan, providing a contrast to the upward movement in gold rates.
Gold Prices Increase in Local Market
According to the association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs900 per tola on Tuesday.
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also rose by Rs771, reaching Rs377,945.
Similarly, 22-karat gold increased by Rs707 per 10 grams to Rs346,462.
The latest figures reflect a recovery in domestic gold prices following the previous session’s decline. Gold rates in Pakistan are influenced by international market movements and exchange-rate conditions.
The association stated that local gold prices were calculated using interbank exchange rates.
International Gold Prices Also Rise
Gold prices in the international market also recorded an increase on Tuesday.
According to figures shared by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the international price of gold rose by $9 per ounce to $4,183.
The upward movement in international prices coincided with the increase in Pakistan’s domestic gold rates.
Changes in international bullion prices can affect the local market, although currency movements and domestic pricing calculations also play a role in determining the final rates.
Silver Prices Remain Stable
Unlike gold, silver prices remained unchanged in Pakistan on October 13.
The price of silver stood at Rs6,532 per tola, while 10 grams of silver remained at Rs5,600.
In the international market, silver was reported at $60.54 per ounce, unchanged from the previous rate.
The stability in silver prices came as gold recorded gains in both the domestic and international markets.

What the Latest Price Movement Means
The increase in gold prices may affect consumers planning to purchase jewellery, as well as people considering gold as a form of savings or investment.
However, daily price movements do not necessarily indicate a sustained upward or downward trend. Gold rates can fluctuate in response to international bullion prices, currency movements and changes in market demand.
Buyers should also note that jewellery prices may differ from the announced bullion rates because of additional making charges and other applicable costs.
