Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Saturday, ending a three-day winning streak in the domestic market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold dropped by Rs200, settling at Rs282,400. Similarly, the 10-gram gold rate fell by Rs170 to Rs242,112.
Internationally, gold prices also dipped, with the per-ounce rate decreasing by $2 to $2,703.
Silver prices followed the downward trend in the local market, with a Rs24 drop per tola to Rs3,381 and a Rs21 decline in the 10-gram rate to Rs2,898.
Just a day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan had risen for a third straight day. The price of one tola increased by Rs400 to Rs282,600, while the 10-gram rate climbed by Rs342 to Rs242,283. Globally, gold had gained $2, reaching $2,705 per ounce.
