FDE Starts HSSC-I Admissions for 2026-27 Session

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has opened admissions for HSSC-I (First Year) in Islamabad Model Colleges for the 2026-27 academic session, inviting eligible students to apply through its online admission system.

According to the admission schedule, students who have passed the SSC Part-II examination can apply for admission to Islamabad Model Colleges located in both urban and rural areas under the FDE.

Online registration began on July 30 and will continue until August 5. The FDE will publish the list of shortlisted candidates on August 7, while document verification and interviews at the respective colleges will be completed by August 14.

The first merit list will be displayed on August 17, and selected candidates must submit their admission fee by August 18. The second merit list will be published on August 19, with regular classes scheduled to begin on August 20.

The FDE said students can complete the online admission registration free of cost through designated colleges. The admission process has been designed to ensure transparency and provide equal opportunities to eligible applicants.

Only residents of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and the sons and daughters of federal government employees residing in Islamabad or Rawalpindi are eligible to apply under the current admission policy.

The directorate said admissions will be granted according to its approved policy. Applicants are advised to review the admission policy, college prospectus, available subject combinations, and other important information before submitting their applications.

Students are encouraged to complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid any delays and ensure their applications are considered for the upcoming academic session.
