Fawad Chaudhry Released From Adiala jail

Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry was released from Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Friday night. His wife, Hiba Chaudhry, shared a photo of them together after his release, expressing gratitude for his return.

The development follows the grant of bail to Chaudhry by a division bench of the Islamabad High Court on April 1, pertaining to a case related to land in his hometown Jhelum. Chaudhry’s lawyer, Qaiser Imam, presented arguments before the court.

Fawad Chaudhry had been detained following his involvement in several cases, along with former party members, following the events of May 9.
