Addressing the media during the academy’s launch, Fakhar Zaman emphasized that there is no age restriction for joining the academy. He also revealed plans for reciprocal tours between teams from Australia, Dubai, and Pakistan. Currently, there are two academies in Pakistan, with ongoing efforts to establish another. Notably, Fakhar Zaman had previously established an academy in his hometown, Mardan, in 2017. This initiative followed his instrumental role in helping the Pakistan cricket team secure the Champions Trophy title.

Despite facing a challenging five-match T20I series in New Zealand, where Pakistan encountered a 4-1 defeat, Fakhar Zaman continued to showcase his aggressive batting style. Despite his individual efforts, the series victory eluded the team.

In summary, Fakhar Zaman’s launch of a cricket academy in Melbourne signifies his commitment to nurturing cricket talent globally. The academy’s inclusive approach without age restrictions and plans for collaborative tours demonstrate Fakhar’s dedication to facilitating aspiring cricketers. This initiative builds on his earlier establishment of an academy in Mardan and reflects his desire to contribute significantly to the development of cricket.
