COAS Pledges Unwavering Commitment to National Security and Development

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Army to contribute significantly to national security and development as a unified force.

The message, conveyed on the occasion of the New Year and shared by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), underscored the armed forces’ determination to serve the nation despite challenges.

General Munir emphasized the inseparable bond between the Pakistan Army and the nation, expressing pride in their dedication to the people. He asserted that the spirit of Pakistan is indomitable, and no force can overcome it.

The ISPR, the military’s media wing, acknowledged the challenges of the past year and extended New Year greetings to the resilient people of Pakistan. Highlighting the significance of 2024 for Pakistan, both internally and externally, the armed forces aimed to reinforce the patriotic spirit in serving the nation, described as a land of abundant blessings and endless opportunities.

General Munir expressed confidence in the nation’s ability to rise, aligning with the dreams of forefathers and the aspirations of the people of Pakistan. He anticipated a promising future for the upcoming generations, Insha Allah.

In accordance with the prime minister’s directive, the message conveyed solidarity and prayers for the resilient people of Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. It expressed hope for relief in their sufferings from tyrannical regimes in the New Year.
