BSEK Announces Class 9 General Group Result 2026

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the Class 9 General Group results for the first annual examination 2026. The result covers both regular and private candidates who appeared in the examination.

According to the board’s figures, a total of 15,244 candidates registered for the Class 9 General Group examination. Of these, 14,260 students appeared in the exams, while 1,984 candidates remained absent. The combined pass percentage was recorded at 36.29%.

The results show a relatively low overall success rate among students who appeared in the examination. BSEK has released separate performance figures for regular and private candidates, providing details about the number of papers cleared by students.

Regular Candidates Record 36.59% Pass Rate

A total of 10,064 regular candidates registered for the Class 9 General Group examination. Among them, 9,530 students appeared, while 534 candidates were absent.

According to the result data, 3,487 regular candidates passed all seven papers. Another 2,088 students successfully cleared six papers, while 1,335 candidates passed five papers.

The board reported that 902 regular candidates cleared four papers, while 673 students passed three papers. A further 450 candidates successfully cleared two papers.

Meanwhile, 309 regular candidates passed only one paper. The overall pass percentage for regular General Group candidates stood at 36.59%.

Private Candidates Achieve 35.69% Pass Rate

BSEK also released the performance details of private candidates. A total of 5,180 private candidates registered for the examination, with 4,730 appearing in the exams and 450 remaining absent.

Among the students who appeared, 1,688 private candidates passed all seven papers. Another 1,279 students cleared six papers, while 596 candidates passed five papers.

The results further showed that 388 private candidates successfully cleared four papers. Another 254 students passed three papers, while 202 candidates cleared two papers.

A total of 183 private candidates passed only one paper. The overall pass percentage among private General Group candidates was recorded at 35.69%.

Overall Class 9 General Group Result 2026

The combined result of regular and private candidates shows that 36.29% of students passed the Class 9 General Group examination. The figures include candidates who appeared in the first annual examination and provide a breakdown of their performance across the seven papers.

Students can now check their individual results through official BSEK channels. Candidates should use their examination details to access their marks and confirm their performance.

The Class 9 General Group result is an important academic milestone for students as they prepare to continue their secondary education.
