Asif Zardari Accuses Jemima Goldsmith of Funding Vloggers

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, has leveled accusations against Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan, alleging that she has been financially supporting vloggers from abroad.

During an interview on Aaj News with Asma Shirazi, Zardari asserted that a lobby with “multiple interests” has been providing funding and support to various vloggers.

The former president went on to describe this as a conspiracy aimed at facilitating the rise to power of Imran Khan, the former chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), suggesting that certain individuals intended to prolong his rule until 2035.

Zardari emphasized, “He [Khan] would have sold Pakistan, and the country would have defaulted if I had not ousted that person… Sometimes a puppet does not know what its handler is doing to it.”

Furthermore, Asif Ali Zardari expressed that he and even Bilawal, along with Khursheed Shah, could be potential candidates for the position of prime ministership.

Conversely, supporters of PTI are expressing solidarity with Jemima on social media, with the hashtag #StayStrongJemimaKhan trending on various platforms, including X (previously Twitter).
