Strong tremors shook Swat and nearby areas earlier today. The Seismological Center confirmed a 5.0 magnitude earthquake, sparking panic among residents.
The quake’s epicenter was traced to Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush mountains at a depth of 130 kilometers. Tremors were experienced throughout Swat city and neighboring towns.
