WhatsApp Introduces Email Login Feature For iPhones
WhatsApp, the widely used messaging app from Meta, has introduced a new functionality for iOS users, allowing them to log in using their email addresses. According to a report from WABetaInfo, a source closely monitoring WhatsApp updates, this feature is particularly useful when users face temporary difficulties receiving the usual 6-digit code via SMS.
The 23.24.70 update for iOS on the App Store incorporates this new feature, although the official changelog does not provide detailed information about the update’s contents.

iOS users are advised to update their WhatsApp to access this feature. Following the update, users can navigate to WhatsApp Settings > Account to enable the service, which prompts them to add their email address.
As of now, Meta has not specified a release date for this feature on Android devices.
