West Indies Reveal Dates for Pakistan Test Series

Cricket West Indies has officially unveiled the schedule for its upcoming home Test series against the Pakistan national cricket team, while also confirming fixtures involving Sri Lanka and New Zealand. The announcement outlines a busy period of international cricket for the Caribbean side during the middle months of the year.

Pakistan is set to visit the West Indies in July for a two-match Test series, which will be part of both teams’ preparations for future international assignments. The series will be held entirely in Trinidad and Tobago, giving local fans the opportunity to witness high-level Test cricket on home soil.

The opening Test match between Pakistan and the West Indies is scheduled to be played from July 25 to July 29 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. The venue will make history by hosting its first-ever Test match since its establishment. The ground has previously staged limited-overs internationals and domestic competitions, but this will be its debut as a Test venue.

Following the first encounter, the teams will move to the iconic Queen’s Park Oval for the second and final Test of the series. The match is set to take place from August 2 to August 6. Queen’s Park Oval remains one of the most historic cricket venues in the Caribbean and has hosted numerous memorable international contests over the years.

Before welcoming Pakistan, the West Indies team will have a packed schedule against Sri Lanka. The two sides are due to compete in a full international series across formats during June and July. After completing those fixtures, the Caribbean side will switch focus to New Zealand, which is set to tour the region later in July for a five-match One Day International series.

The announcement highlights an exciting period for West Indies cricket, with fans set to enjoy a packed calendar featuring Test, ODI, and multi-format action against three major international teams. The Pakistan series, in particular, is expected to attract significant attention, especially with the historic Test debut at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
