The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has announced the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET/ETPGAT) 2026 results. The examination was held for admission to Level-III postgraduate medical and dental programs across Punjab.
Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their results online through the official UHS examination portal.
According to the university’s announcement, 8,271 candidates appeared in the entrance examination. A total of 2,131 candidates successfully qualified, representing an overall passing rate of approximately 25.8%.
The examination was conducted under the Punjab government’s Central Induction Policy (CIP). It determines eligibility for postgraduate medical and dental training programs.
The announced results cover candidates seeking admission to MS, MD, MDS, and FCPS programs. These admissions are scheduled for the January 2027 intake.
UHS PGET 2026 Result Details
The UHS postgraduate entrance examination covered several medical and dental specialties. Candidates appeared in different groups according to their selected fields.
In Medicine and Allied, 2,939 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of these, 744 candidates successfully qualified.
Surgery and Allied Group I recorded 248 successful candidates from 959 participants. Meanwhile, 274 candidates qualified in Surgery and Allied Group II out of 1,031 participants.
In Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 287 candidates passed the examination. A total of 1,136 candidates appeared in this category.
Paediatric Medicine recorded 126 successful candidates from 485 participants. In Radiology, 108 candidates qualified out of 411 applicants.
For Anaesthesia, 338 candidates appeared, while 86 successfully passed the examination.
The results also include several other medical and dental specialties. These include Ophthalmology, ENT, Pathology, Psychiatry, and different dental disciplines.
The dental specialties include Oral Surgery, Operative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, and Periodontology.
Overall, the examination recorded 2,131 successful candidates out of 8,271 participants. This represents an approximate passing percentage of 25.8%.
Programs Covered Under PGET 2026
The entrance examination is part of the admission process for postgraduate medical and dental training in Punjab.
Candidates who qualify can seek admission to different Level-III postgraduate programs. These include:
- Master of Surgery (MS)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)
- Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS)
