The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has announced Fall 2026 admissions for MS, MPhil, MSc and Master’s programs, offering classes in morning, evening and weekend sessions. The university is inviting applications from eligible candidates across a wide range of engineering, computing, science, management, architecture and planning disciplines.
According to the admission schedule, online applications opened on July 13, 2026, and will remain open until Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 12:00 midnight. Interested candidates must complete the online application process before the deadline to be considered for admission.
UET Lahore highlighted its academic and research achievements while announcing the admissions. The university said it currently has around 450 PhD faculty members, has published 9,072 research papers and holds 35 national and international patents. It also offers financial assistance through various scholarship and support programs for deserving students.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess an accredited undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university. Candidates should have completed at least 16 years of education with a relevant BSc, BE, BS or equivalent qualification.
The university has also set a minimum academic requirement of 2.0 CGPA out of 4.0 under the semester system. In addition, applicants must secure at least 50 percent marks in the UET admission test. The university clarified that if both percentage and CGPA appear on a transcript, the CGPA will be considered for determining eligibility.
According to the announced schedule, admission tests will be conducted from August 17 to August 19, 2026. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place between August 20 and August 22, while admission offers will begin on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Successful candidates will begin their academic session on Monday, September 7, 2026. UET advised applicants to prepare for the admission test and complete all required formalities before the announced deadlines to avoid any delays in the admission process.
Candidates can apply online through the official UET admission portal. Applicants are required to generate a paid challan of Rs. 3,100 through the portal, submit the fee using the available payment methods, and then complete the online application form by uploading all required documents before the closing date.
