In Karachi, Pakistan, a potential tragedy of significant magnitude was narrowly averted as security forces successfully defused a time bomb discovered on the Awam Express passenger train on Friday. The discovery occurred during the train cleaning process when staff found suspicious bags under seats 71 and 72 in coach number 5 upon the train’s arrival at the Awam Express station in Karachi.
