The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has announced a paid internship program for Pakistani nationals at its Lahore office, offering a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 50,000.
According to the announcement, the internship will run for six months and may be extended depending on project requirements. The program is designed to provide graduates with practical experience in advanced technology and engineering fields while working on real-world projects.
Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age and have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in a relevant discipline. The deadline to submit online applications is August 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
SUPARCO is offering internship opportunities in Embedded Systems Design, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Development, and GNU/Linux-based Development. Graduates in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Computer Engineering are eligible to apply.
The selection process will include a field-related MCQ-based written test followed by an interview. SUPARCO said both the test and interview will be conducted only in Lahore, and no TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for the selection process.
The commission added that outstanding interns may be considered for employment after successfully completing the internship program, subject to project availability and organizational requirements.
Interested candidates can apply online through the Smart Careers portal. Applicants have been advised to provide an active mobile number and email address, as all communication regarding the written test and interview will be sent through SMS or email.
