PITB Announces Multiple Jobs in Lahore

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has announced contract-based job opportunities for qualified professionals in Lahore, inviting applications for multiple positions across software development, program management, quality assurance, library services, and supervision.

According to the official announcement, the recruitment drive includes 11 job categories, with multiple vacancies available for Supervisor positions. The last date to submit online applications is August 19, 2026.

The available positions include Assistant Librarian, Assistant Program Officer, Associate Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, Program Manager, Program Officer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Senior Program Manager, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Supervisor.

Most positions require candidates to have 16 years of education in the relevant field, while the required professional experience ranges from one to seven years, depending on the post. Applicants interested in Supervisor positions must have 13 years of education along with at least four years of relevant experience.

The maximum age limit for most vacancies is 45 years, while candidates applying for Supervisor posts can be up to 50 years of age. PITB has advised applicants to carefully review the eligibility criteria, educational requirements, and job descriptions before submitting their applications.

Interested candidates must apply online through the Punjab Jobs Portal. PITB clarified that applications submitted through email, post, courier, fax, or by hand will not be accepted. Government employees have been instructed to apply through the proper channel.

The board further stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process. No TA/DA will be provided for written tests or interviews.

Eligible candidates have been encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues and ensure they meet all eligibility requirements.
