The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has announced 54 vacancies in different departments of the Government of Sindh through Consolidated Advertisement No. 05/2026. The positions range from BPS-16 to BPS-18 and are available for candidates with different educational and professional backgrounds.
According to the announced schedule, interested candidates can submit their applications online until October 23, 2026. The closing time on the last date is 5:00 PM. SPSC has made online applications mandatory and will not accept manual applications for these vacancies.
The Services, General Administration & Coordination Department has announced two IT-related positions. These include one Deputy Director (I.T.) / Senior Manager I.T. in BPS-18 and one Assistant Director (I.T.) / System Analyst in BPS-17.
Candidates applying for the Deputy Director position must have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least a second division or equivalent CGPA from an HEC-recognized university. The position also requires five years of relevant experience in IT project management and related operations.
The Assistant Director position requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least a second division or equivalent CGPA.
The Home Department has announced 32 Medical Officer positions in BPS-17 for male candidates and four Lady Medical Officer positions in the same scale. Applicants for these positions must have an MBBS degree from a recognized institution, registration with the relevant medical authority and one year of house job experience.
The Information Department has announced four Information Officer positions in BPS-17. Candidates applying for these vacancies are required to have a master’s degree in Mass Communication or Journalism from an HEC-recognized university and meet the experience requirements mentioned in the advertisement.
The Planning & Development Department has announced one Assistant Director and one Program Officer, both in BPS-17. The Assistant Director position requires relevant postgraduate or 16-year education in fields such as Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Economics or Public Policy, according to the advertised criteria.
Candidates applying for the Program Officer position must have 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
The Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution Department has announced 10 Assistant positions in BPS-16. Candidates must have a graduation degree with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized university.
The age limit varies according to the position. Candidates are advised to check the specific age requirement and applicable government relaxation rules for their desired post before applying.
SPSC has set the application fee at Rs. 500, which is non-refundable. Candidates are required to generate a PSID before paying the fee through the available online payment channels.
After payment, applicants must complete the online registration and application process through the SPSC website. Manual applications will not be accepted.
