SNGPL Celebrates Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony at its Head Office in Lahore.

The ceremony was attended by senior management and employees of the company, who gathered to mark the national occasion and pay tribute to the sacrifices made for Pakistan’s independence.

Managing Director Sui Northern Gas, Mr. Amer Tufail, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and addressed the participants on the significance of Independence Day.

Tribute to Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal

In his address, Amer Tufail paid tribute to the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal, acknowledging their historic contributions to the struggle for an independent homeland.

He highlighted the determination, vision and leadership that played a crucial role in the creation of Pakistan and emphasized the importance of remembering the efforts of the country’s founding leaders.

The Managing Director also paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their heroic sacrifices and victories in defending the country.

He acknowledged the courage and dedication of the armed forces and their role in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and security.

Call for Unity and Dedication

Addressing SNGPL employees, Tufail urged them to continue working with unity, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility for the progress of both Pakistan and the company.

He emphasized that collective efforts and commitment were essential for overcoming challenges and contributing to the country’s development.

The Managing Director encouraged employees to remain focused on their responsibilities and play their part in strengthening the national economy and essential services.

National Flag Hoisted

Following his address, Amer Tufail hoisted the national flag at the SNGPL Head Office, formally marking the Independence Day celebrations.

The ceremony reflected the spirit of patriotism and national pride as employees came together to commemorate Pakistan’s independence.

As part of the celebrations, the Managing Director also planted a sapling, symbolizing hope, growth and a commitment to a greener future.

The tree-planting activity added an environmental dimension to the Independence Day event and highlighted the importance of contributing to the country’s long-term sustainability.

Employees Join Celebrations

A large number of senior management officials and SNGPL employees attended the ceremony.
