Sindh Police has announced 139 new Assistant Sub-Inspector posts in BPS-11 under a special recruitment quota. The vacancies are reserved for eligible legal heirs of Sindh Police employees.
The recruitment covers the Shaheed, Deceased and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated categories. General or open-merit candidates cannot apply for these positions.
The latest recruitment notice has been issued as an addendum to advertisements published on April 28, 2024. The earlier recruitment process was stopped following a Supreme Court judgment.
The process has now resumed under the relevant government notification. Sindh Police will consider applications according to the Shaheed, Deceased and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota Recruitment Rules, 2021.
Legal heirs of deceased or permanently incapacitated police employees can apply if the employee died or became permanently incapacitated on or before September 26, 2024.
Applicants must have a Sindh domicile and meet all other eligibility conditions. Legal heirs of Shaheed police employees can also apply if the employee attained martyrdom by the closing date.
For the Shaheed category, applicants must hold the domicile of the relevant Sindh Police range. The department will give priority to the Shaheed category, followed by the Deceased and Permanently Incapacitated categories.
The 139 vacancies have been distributed across four Sindh Police ranges. Karachi Range has the largest share with 112 posts.
Hyderabad Range has 11 posts, while Mirpurkhas Range has 12 vacancies. Larkana Range has four posts, bringing the total to 139.
Applicants must have a graduation degree with at least Second Division from a recognized university. Sindh Police has stated that no relaxation will be given in the required qualification.
Candidates must be between 21 and 28 years old on October 15, 2026. No upper-age relaxation will be allowed under the recruitment conditions.
Male candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches. They must also have a chest measurement of at least 33 inches, with an expansion of 1.5 inches.
Female candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet. They must also be in sound health. No relaxation will be provided in the prescribed physical standards.
Male candidates will have to complete a 1,600-metre run within eight minutes. Female candidates must complete an 800-metre walk within 14 minutes.
Only candidates who pass the physical endurance test will proceed to the written examination. SIBA Testing Services will conduct the required tests.
Applicants must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs1,500. After completing the online form, candidates can generate a system-created challan.
The fee can be paid at any Allied Bank Limited branch or through the myABL application. Candidates can also use the 1Bill reference number through supported online banking services.
Applicants must upload documents according to their quota category. These may include CNIC, Sindh domicile, PRC or Form-D, photograph and academic records.
Candidates may also need to provide death certificates, heirship certificates and other documents related to the employee’s service status. Additional records are required for Shaheed and permanently incapacitated categories.
Sindh Police will verify original documents from candidates called for tests or interviews. Incorrect documents or false statements can lead to immediate disqualification.
Candidates must apply through the official SIBA Testing Services portal. They should create an account or sign in before completing the Sindh Police ASI application form.
Applicants must provide accurate personal, academic, domicile and quota information. They should upload the required documents and pay the processing fee before submitting the application.
Applications submitted by hand, courier or any method other than the online STS portal will not be accepted.
The application deadline is October 15, 2026. Candidates should regularly check the STS website and candidate portal for roll number slips, test schedules, results and other recruitment updates.
