The Government of Sindh has announced 149 vacancies under the Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh project.
The jobs have been announced by the Project Management and Implementation Unit under the Sindh Social Protection Authority and Social Protection Department.
According to the official advertisement, 22 positions are available at the project’s head office.
Another 127 vacancies have been announced for district offices across Sindh.
The project is being supported by the World Bank through International Development Association (IDA) financing.
All appointments will be made on a contract basis for the project.
The announced positions cover information technology, management, administration, finance, research, social protection and field operations.
Among the head office positions are IT Infrastructure Head, Software Developer, Data Center Officer and System Analyst.
The project also requires a General Manager Operations, Payment Officer, Programme Officer and Training Coordinator.
Other positions include Audit Officer, Accounts/Audit Assistant, Manager HR and Administration, Research Officer and Administration Assistant.
Support positions such as Dispatch Rider, Gardener and Sweeper are also included in the recruitment drive.
A total of 22 vacancies have been allocated for the head office.
The district offices will offer 127 additional positions across different areas of Sindh.
These jobs include District Social Protection Coordinators, female Field Supervisors, female Monitoring and Evaluation Officers and Field Officers.
The district-level recruitment also includes positions for male Field Officers, MIS/GRM Officers and District Administration and Finance Officers.
Drivers, Naib Qasids and Sweepers are also required under the district office recruitment.
The largest number of district vacancies includes 18 positions each for female Field Supervisors and female M&E Officers.
There are also 17 positions for female Field Officers and 17 positions for Sweepers.
The eligibility criteria vary according to the position.
Most professional, technical and management posts require 16 years of education in the relevant field from a university recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Several senior positions also require relevant professional experience.
The required experience varies by position and can range from around two years to 10 years for senior management roles.
Field and district-level positions generally require qualifications in areas such as social sciences, economics, business administration, public administration and information systems.
Candidates should carefully review the eligibility requirements for their preferred position before applying.
Applicants must submit their applications online through the National Testing Service (NTS) website.
The department will accept applications only through the online process.
Candidates are not required to send hard copies of their application forms or supporting documents to NTS.
Applicants must submit their forms within 15 days of the publication of the job advertisement.
Interested candidates have therefore been advised to complete their applications before the deadline.
The recruitment drive is expected to strengthen the social protection system and support the implementation of the World Bank-funded project across Sindh.
