Shubman Gill Dethroned by King Babar Azam - Reclaims No. 1 Spot In ICC Rankings

Babar Azam, the outstanding batsman for Pakistan, has achieved an incredible feat by taking the top spot back in the most current ICC ODI batters rankings. The former captain of Pakistan overthrew Shubman Gill, his Indian opponent, to take the top spot in ODI batter rankings.

In the ICC T20I bowlers’ rankings, veteran English spinner Adil Rashid has risen two spots to take the top spot.

Rashid Khan of Afghanistan and Ravi Bishnoi of India are now behind him in the race because to Rashid’s outstanding performances in the current series against the West Indies. With this, Rashid joins Graeme Swann as the only other English bowler to hold the top spot.

Among the bowlers who have moved up in the rankings are Tabraiz Shamsi (up three spots to ninth) and Akeal Hosein (up three spots to sixth).

A few noteworthy shifts have also occurred in the Test rankings, with Usman Khawaja rising three spots to number four and David Warner and Mitchell Marsh rising nine and twelve ranks, respectively, to 27 and 68, respectively.

In terms of the bowlers’ rankings, Pat Cummins, the skipper of Australia, has taken third place, climbing one spot. His bowling partners Nathan Lyon (up three spots to fifth), Mitchell Starc (up two spaces to eighth), and Josh Hazlewood (up two spots to tenth) have all received awards for their outstanding performance in the Perth
