Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan collects INR 2 Crore before Trailer Release

The teaser for Shah Rukh Khan’s next film Jawan, directed by Atlee, is expected to be released this week, and the film is already making waves. The film has collected about 2 crore in advance bookings across 450 sites in the United States. According to trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan, the total number of tickets sold was 13750.

While advance booking for Jawan began 20 days before the film’s premiere in the United States, it has yet to commence in India. A few more theaters have already begun taking advance reservations for the film.

While advance booking at major Indian theaters has yet to commence, most exhibitors have reported positive word of mouth about the picture. On Sunday, exhibitor and trade expert Visheck Chauhan tweeted that fans are asking 3 a.m. showings of the film in tier-two cities across the country. Raj Bansal, a film distributor and exhibitor, also tweeted, “After #Gadar2, I believe @iamsrk’s #Jawan will have round-the-clock shows in various cinemas across India.” His fans are quite excited about the flick. Good luck, Jawan.”
