Shahid Afridi Shares Advice with Babar Azam Ahead of Pakistan vs. India Clash

Following Pakistan’s triumphant performance against Sri Lanka in the ICC World Cup 2023 this past Tuesday, the renowned cricketer Shahid Afridi shared details of his conversation with the captain of the Pakistani team, Babar Azam.

According to insider reports, Afridi disclosed in an interview with a local news channel that he had a conversation with Babar Azam and provided words of encouragement. Despite Babar Azam’s relatively low scores of 15 runs in the first two matches of the World Cup, Afridi assured him that he would make a significant impact in the remaining matches.

Afridi conveyed, “I had a conversation with Babar Azam last night and extended my congratulations for the victory.”

Furthermore, Afridi added, “Although he faced some bad luck in the previous match, I am confident that he will manage to score a century in the upcoming significant matches.”

It’s noteworthy that Pakistan, in the eighth game of the ICC World Cup 2023, continued their unbeaten streak by securing a historic victory against Sri Lanka.
